LIBERTY WHEELCHAIRS — RETURN & REFUND POLICY Effective Date: May 31 2026
OUR COMMITMENT At Liberty Wheelchairs, we stand behind the quality of every product we sell. Because we deal in Durable Medical Equipment (DME), all sales are subject to strict return and refund conditions outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL — DEFAULT POSITION All sales are final. Due to the nature of medical equipment — including hygiene, safety, and regulatory considerations — we do not accept returns or issue refunds except under the specific conditions listed below.
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this policy in full.
EXCEPTIONS — THE ONLY CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH A RETURN OR REFUND WILL BE CONSIDERED
1. Manufacturer Defect
- Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Photographic and/or video evidence submitted to info@libertywheelchairs.com within 48 hours
- Item must be unused, in original packaging, with all components intact
- Approved claims result in replacement only — not a cash refund
2. Wrong Item Delivered
- Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery
- Photographic evidence required
- Original packaging must be intact and item unused
- Liberty Wheelchairs will arrange collection and replacement at no cost
3. Item Damaged in Transit
- Damage must be documented at point of delivery
- Photographic evidence submitted within 24 hours of delivery
- Claims after 24 hours will not be accepted
- Approved claims result in replacement only
CONDITIONS THAT VOID ANY CLAIM
- Item used, assembled, or modified in any way
- Original packaging discarded or damaged
- Claim submitted outside the stated time window
- No photographic or video evidence provided
- Signs of misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repair
- Serial number, label, or warranty sticker removed or tampered with
- Customer changed their mind or found a lower price elsewhere
- Item purchased as a gift and recipient doesn't want it
- Customer ordered wrong size, weight capacity, or model
RETURN PROCESS No return accepted without prior written authorization.
- Email info@libertywheelchairs.com within the applicable time window
- Include order number, full name, and description of issue
- Attach clear photographic or video evidence
- Await written authorization — do not ship without authorization
- Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at sender's expense
REFUNDS
- Cash refunds are not issued under any circumstances
- Approved claims result in product replacement only
- If exact item unavailable, a comparable item may be offered at Liberty Wheelchairs' discretion
SHIPPING COSTS
- Return shipping is customer's responsibility unless error was Liberty Wheelchairs'
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
FRAUD & ABUSE Liberty Wheelchairs reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, and report fraudulent claims. Misrepresentation or policy exploitation may result in permanent account suspension and legal action.
